The Whole Law

                         Contributed by Ed Moore

“Christians” often mock those who seek to be obedient to Yahuah in love as “legalistic”; and they condemn us for not keeping “the whole law”. Christian’s favorite accusation is: “if you keep The Law, why aren’t you sacrificing animals?” These Christians show a complete disconnect with The Renewed Covenant and do not know Yahuah.
Sacrifices are made on behalf of those who “do this” or keep Passover in remembrance of his sacrifice. The “Altar” has not disappeared as many assume and in error claim there are currently no daily sacrifices being made. The Altar exists now in our hearts and the sacrifices being made on it are still alive and very active.
The Temple of YAHUAH is the human body
The altar of YAHUAH is the hearts/minds of man
The Sacrifices to YAHUAH are expressing faith through action
Which brings us to "The Law"....
Not everyone is “under” every one of the 613 Laws. The Laws of Yahuah just
like laws of man are jurisdictional and not everyone falls under the jurisdiction of every law:
• There are laws that pertain to women only.
• There are laws that apply to men only.
• There are laws that apply to Kings, Priests, and Judges that don’t apply to the average person.
• The Laws of the Priesthood and Sacrificial Laws have been transposed over
to Yahusha who serves as Melchezidek. These laws don’t apply to us as they
have been transposed to Heaven to define the role Yahusha plays as High
Priest
This is why the entire Law was summarized into the Ten Commandments because those are the commandments that apply to and have jurisdiction over everyone.
The Law is a term used for all 613 “instructions” in righteousness found in The Torah. The Law contains very distinct categories:
                                  by Ed Moore

His Commandments (Ten Commandments)
His Ordinances/Laws (Dietary, Priestly, Ritual Purity, Sacrificial, Judicial, Moral, Agricultural, Business, Sabbatical, Community, Prohibition, Tithes/Offerings, etc.)
His Decrees (Judicial Judgments amounting to a Certificate of Debt against us for our disobedience to His Commandments and His Laws)
Those death decrees are covered by the blood of the Lamb. That reduces the number significantly from the 613 “laws” and leaves only the commands and ordinances.
There are other “sins” not “unto death” which are the laws that pertain to our physical bodies and health such as the dietary laws. Violating these laws has physical consequences to our health not our eternal life. Laws that apply to agriculture, business, community, and so forth are all laws that if violated effect our relationships with others, our reputation, the ability of the land to regenerate etc. They do not impact our eternal life. There are laws given as physical to spiritual parallels that teach us through physical examples what it means to be “set apart”.
All these laws, as Paul said, are profitable to us in our earthly lives and instructing us in righteousness as we study them from the standpoint of spiritual intent. Anytime you see the word “Scripture” in the Bible it is referring to The Law, The Prophets, and The Writings we in error call The Old Testament.
2 Timothy 3:16
All (Hebrew) Scripture is given by inspiration of Yahuah, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of Yahuah may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
We should all study The Law in its entirety to understand Yahusha’s role as High Priest, to become better people in general, to stay healthy, and to prepare ourselves for our roles as Kings, Priests, and Judges in the coming Kingdom.

Torah

“Torah” in Hebrew means Instructions in Righteousness. Keeping The Law is how we will be declared righteous before Yahuah as The Torah is that instruction.
It is in keeping The Law that the process of sanctification is accomplished as we are set apart for Yahuah as a prized possession through our obedience.
Sin is breaking The Law and Grace is forgiveness in light of our inability to keep The Law fully. The love of Yahuah is made complete in those who obey The Law.
Romans 2:13
For it is not those who hear The Law who are righteous in Yahuah's sight, but it is those who obey The Law who will be declared righteous.
Titus 2:14
who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness (abolishing The Law 1 John 3:4) and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works (of The Law James 2:14-26).
Romans 6:19
I am speaking in simple terms because of the frailty of your human nature. Just as you once offered the parts of your body as slaves to impurity and to greater and greater disobedience (to The Law; the carnal mind is hostile to The Law Romans 8:7), so now, in the same way, you must offer the parts of your body as slaves to righteousness (which is keeping The Law Romans 2:13) that leads to sanctification.
1 John 3:4
Whosoever commits sin transgresses also The Law: for sin is the transgression of The Law.
1 John 2
3 We know that we have come to know Yahuah IF we keep His commands. 4 Whoever says, “I know Yahuah,” but does not do what Yahuah commands is a LIAR, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys Yahuah’s word (Matthew 5:17-20), love for Yahuah is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in The Renewed Covenant: 6 Whoever claims to live in covenant with Yahusha must live as Yahusha did (keeping The Law of Yahuah in loving obedience)
Yahusha did not come to abolish The Law of Yahuah but to transpose it to its fullest meaning and spiritual intent. We know Yahusha’s view of those who violate the commandments of Yahuah:
Matthew 7:23
“And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!
Matthew 13:41
“The Son of Aḏam shall send out His messengers, and they shall gather out of His reign all the stumbling-blocks, and those doing lawlessness,
Matthew 23:28
The same is true of you: outwardly you seem to the human eye to be good and honest men, but, within, you are full of insincerity and disregard of Yahuah's Law.
